Some Web Issues
Web export have some caveats so playing on the browser would likely have some limitations compared on the native builds for desktop. Here are some known issues I encountered so far:
- BGM won't loop. It's handled by a Singleton and for some reason it doesn't loop on web. On desktop builds it works just fine.
- Bad performance on particles' first emission. There's a bit lag when spawning particles for the first time on web. On desktop builds this isn't even an issue, most, if not all, things are optimized to work.
- Pixel artifacts. The Exosaurs, player's 'enemy', have stray pixels for some reason on the web build. Desktop builds have clean sprites and animations.
